{{tl|Infobox camera}} is provided as a means to describe the functional aspects of a [[camera]]. It is intended to provide a means to describe still image or motion picture cameras utilizing any kind of image sensor, whether it be chemical ([[silver halide]]), for instance) or electronic ([[Charge-coupled device|CCD]] or [[CMOS]]). It is intentionally broad to provide a means to describe most given cameras.
